  Went during New Years for the pig roast, music, and celebration. It was great. The decorations seem to get better with each holiday season. During normal time of the year, the plaza is also a great place to go. You can get a great feel for the culture of Taos. The farmers market, live music, and fiestas also take place in the plaza, so there are many great excuses to go.

  Taos is a fantastic place to leisurely shop the square and enjoy all the sites. There was distant snow in the surrounding mountains and that made the views and the scenery even better :)

  Located in the heart of Taos. It's surrounded by lots of stores. Some are tourist traps with all the cheap things you'd expect. However, other's are great with local artists and one amazing antique shop. Lots of restaurants and bars in the area, as well as a hotel.
